History: | The Tilford-Hunt Lumber Company apparently had a steam logging tram road on the Baxter Ferris property in Nacogdoches County during the 1920s. In 1926, the company renewed a lease it had taken three years earlier to continue using a switch that it on the Ferris property.
The switch probably served the sawmill of Tilford-Hunt located at Lacyville on the Texas & New Orleans, just north of the Angelina River in Nacogdoches County. |
